Made with 100% Tempranillo grape following the traditional method of carbonic maceration, and fermentation in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperature for 15 days. Its cherry nuances with purple rims must be highlighted, with low depth and intense ripe fruit aroma. In the mouth it is warm and wide with small remains of carbonic from its fermentation.
Made with Tempranillo grape from more than 20-year-old vineyards. Destemmed and macerated for 20 to 25 days in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperature. It is in barrels made of American and French oak for between 14 and 16 months for ageing. Later the fining and the bouquet is blended in the bottle cellar. Cherry-red with barely brick-red tones keeping the balance between fruit and wood aromas. In the mouth it is powerful and smooth at the same time, persistent, light and rounde.
Wine of the area made in a limited production, only the years when the grape harvest gets the qualification of excellent. Florentino Martínez family makes it with the best Tempranillo grapes of its vineyard “Carasol de Valdemerque”. Produced by the traditional method of destemmed grape, macerated and fermented in a tank during 25 days at controlled temperature. After 2 months it stands in barrels of France and Virginia oak during 24 months, and it includes two rackings. Finally it finishes with its elaboration in bottle where its bouquet blending takes place for 1, 2 or 3 years.
Deep red, middle-high depth and cherry-red rim. It smells Rioja aromas, red forest fruits, spices and liquorice thanks to its fermentation in a barrel. In the mouth it is thick, with persistent structure and tannin, and a good intensity of fruit and roast. With time and light aeration the wine will gain texture and body. (Read more… )
